Waistband or no waistband
Looking to show off your curves in a subtle way? Tailor your skirt with a waistband. It cinches in the thinnest part of your waist, a classic look fit for the silver screen. If you prefer wearing your skirts lower, tell your tailor you’d like it ‘low-rise’, and tailor it without a waistband.
Vent or slit
Vents and slits both provide more room for movement, but differ in appearance. A vent consists of a slit that has overlapping fabric – preventing your skin from being exposed. A slit is an opening with no overlapping fabric. In our humble opinion, a slit works better with a longer skirt length, while a vent is great for shorter skirts.
Concealed or exposed zippers
Want a clean, minimalist look? Tailor your skirt with a concealed zipper. Concealed zippers are also generally more formal than exposed zippers. However, exposed zippers can also act as a design detail that adds dimension to your skirt.
It takes 3 weeks to tailor your skirt.
Tailored skirts are currently only available at our retail stores.
