1BESPOKE SUIT vs MADE TO MEASURE SUIT
A Bespoke suit is made from scratch to your specifications, which means that the tailor has to craft a paper pattern according to your measurements before cutting the cloth. This is time-consuming, and the fitting of the final suit depends on the artistry of the tailor. Meanwhile, to make a Made-to-Measure suit, your measurements are first taken, and your suit is then made based on an existing paper pattern. Once the raw suit is made, you wil be invited to try on the suit for yourself, and should there be any adjustments needed, the unfinished suit will be altered to fit. This takes about 2 weeks. Finally, once the final suit is ready, there will be another session of fitting for you to try out the look and feel of your very own suit. The entire Made-to-Measure process will take about 4~5 weeks for completion.
2SUIT STYLE CHOICES
Two Piece Suit - The most classic and evergreen suit for men. This can be tailored with either 2 buttons or 3 buttons. Our Style Advisor will guide you to make the right choice based on your body shape and height.
Three Piece Suit – This term refers to the addition of a vest to a 2 piece suit. All three outfits will be made in the same fabric and colour. In hot and humid Singapore, wearing an additional vest may not be practical but, it can be a useful accessory for overseas conferences or formal events. Share your needs with our Style Advisor and he will guide you in making the right decision.
When the dress code specifies Black Tie, you are expected to wear a Tuxedo suit which was typically in black for many years. However, Mr. Daniel Craig in the James Bond movie started a trend with a tuxedo suit in midnight blue, and the more adventurous men have started to follow suit. The full Black Tie look includes a tuxedo shirt with a front bib, black bow tie, black cummerbund and a set of matching cufflinks and studs for the shirt. Tuxedo suit price starts from S$1030.
