This is my third piece purchase from CYC Tailor, having bought two ready-to-wear trousers from them earlier this year. Although they offer personalised tailoring service, I prefer the convenience and hassle-free process of buying ready-to-wear items, due to the busy nature of my work.
The cotton fabric material of this trousers is velvety soft and feels luxurious to the touch (I was informed that it comes from Thomas Mason, which is a very famous textile mill in the UK). The Gurkha trousers design and cut also looks classic and elegant, and can be worn for both formal and casual settings. Such a design is also something that is unique and not seen often in daily life. For the discerning gentleman who values heritage with an emphasis on quality fabrics, CYC Tailor definitely does not disappoint.
Maybe just to offer some suggestion to the management. Personalised tailoring need not be confined to the customer being physically present at the storefront. If there is an option on the website for customers to take our own body measurements and enter these numbers , and be able to select the fabrics, design and cut options, then this would offer a wide range of possibilities, including overseas customers. Some tailors in the US such as Studio Suits, are already offering such kind of services on their websites.
