Guide to measuring your shirt
We only recommend this method if you have a favourite shirt that fits you well. Follow our measurement guide closely and remove any wrinkles before measuring. We work in inches, please ensure that your measurements provided are in inches only.
*Our tailor may make adjustments or modifications to your measurements when deemed necessary
Collar
- Unbutton the shirt fully, lay it on a flat surface
- Measure from one end of the collar stand to the other
Chest
- Button up the shirt, flatten it out on a flat surface
- Measure from one armpit to the other
Waist
- Look for the slimmest part of the shirt. usually in the middle
- Measure from one end to the other
Hips
- Button up the shirt and lay it flat
- Measure from one end of thr hem to the other
Shoulder
- Button up shirt fully & flip it over
- Lay it flat and ensure that there's no slack when measuring
Cuffs
- Unbutton cuff and lay it flat
- Measure from one end to the other
Shirt Length
- Button up fully & flip the collar to find the intersection of the front panel
Shirt Length
- Measure from the intersection all the way to the hem
Arms (Biceps)
- Measure 1 inch away from the armpit seams
Arms (Biceps)
- Measure vertically upwards from where the previous measurement ends
Elbow
- Bring cuffs to match seams on the armpit
Elbow
- Measure elbow across where sleeve is folded
Long Sleeves
- Lay sleeve flat and remove any wrinkle
- Measure from the top sleeve to the end of cuff
Short Sleeves
- Lay sleeve flat and remove any wrinkle
- Measure the arm hole opening
